Lawn & landscape services for Middle Tennessee yards.

Pick a single visit, a custom plan, or a full year-round program. Every service is performed by Canes' own specialized crews — mowing teams, treatment technicians, mulch and bed crews, and our landscape installation team.

Lawn Mowing & Maintenance

Weekly & bi-weekly mowing, done right.

The basics matter most: sharp blades, the right cut height for the season, clean edges along walks and beds, and a thorough blow-off when we're done. We rotate mow patterns to keep your turf upright and stripe-ready.

  • Mow, edge, line-trim, and blow-off every visit
  • Cut height adjusted by season for healthier roots
  • Same crew on your property each visit
  • Weekly or bi-weekly schedules — you pick
Aeration & Overseeding

Thicker turf starts under the surface.

Tennessee clay compacts every summer. Core aeration pulls plugs that let air, water, and nutrients reach the root zone — pair it with overseeding in early fall and your fescue comes in noticeably denser by spring.

  • True core aeration (not spike) for real soil exchange
  • Premium turf-type tall fescue blends
  • Starter fertilizer included where appropriate
  • Best windows: late September through October

Mulching & Bed Care

Beds that look intentional, not afterthought.

We hand-pull weeds, re-cut bed edges with a clean spade line, prune your shrubs to shape, and finish with fresh hardwood or pine bark mulch. It's the single biggest curb-appeal upgrade for the money.

  • Hand weed pull — no string trimmer in your beds
  • Crisp spade-cut bed edges
  • Hardwood, pine bark, or dyed mulch by request
  • Shrub shaping included
Weed Control & Fertilization

A program built for Tennessee turf.

Tennessee's mix of fescue, bermuda, and zoysia each want different timing. Our seasonal program lays pre-emergent in late winter, knocks back broadleaf weeds through spring and summer, then feeds for root depth heading into fall.

  • Pre-emergent application (late winter / early spring)
  • Broadleaf post-emergent treatments
  • Slow-release granular feeds calibrated by season
  • Spot treatments included between visits

Landscape Installation

Sod, shrubs, and small hardscape touches.

Tearing out a tired bed, putting down sod on a problem patch, or roughing in a new walkway? We handle the demo, prep, install, and cleanup — you just unlock the gate.

  • Sod installation (fescue, bermuda, zoysia)
  • Shrub and small-tree installs
  • Bed redesigns & plant swaps
  • Stepping-stone paths and small hardscape
Seasonal Cleanups

Spring & fall reset, end-of-season tidy-up.

Leaves, sticks, last year's mulch, that one corner you keep meaning to deal with — we'll knock it out in a single visit. Spring cleanups set the year up; fall cleanups keep your lawn breathing through winter.

  • Full leaf removal & haul-off
  • Bed cleanup and refresh prep
  • Gutter clearing on request
  • One-time service — no contract required
